I remember being 13 years old, and deciding I want to write comics. So naturally, I reached out to Jackie Chan, and said I was from ‘LC Comics’, and wanted to produce a comic book about Jackie Chan. To my surprise, they came back, and we opened negotiations. I had no idea he’d want paying. I still remember my mum bollocking me for getting, quote, “in too deep with Jackie Chan”.

Whatever made me reach out to Jackie is the same thing wrong with me that’s led to me being able to do quite a lot of dream jobs - just having a pop, and hoping for the best. What could go wrong?

I’m probably most proud to be the announcer for my hometown football club. I used to go to every game with my grandparents, and now I’m stood on the pitch opposite them, giving them a little wave whenever I can. It’s mad.

But some of the most fun I’ve had is being an MC for the World Snooker Tour in Blackpool. And I just came off hosting a few shows on John Cleese’s tour, which I still can’t believe!

I seem to have at least one “pinch me” moment a year, and I really don’t take it for granted - I can’t believe my luck.
